Emma Rosenblum is the internationally bestselling author of Bad Summer People, Very Bad Company, and Mean Moms. Her next novel, Members Only, will be published on January 12, 2027.

Rosenblum is known for her darkly funny mysteries about wealth, status, and the lengths people will go to preserve both, and has been called “the queen of reads about wealthy East Coast women behaving badly” by Glamour. The New York Times praised her as “a keen observer of small, telling details” and called Bad Summer People an “addictive thriller of manners,” while Town & Country described her work as “a smart, slyly observed take on power and privilege.”

Rosenblum is a journalist and editor who has spent more than two decades covering culture, business, relationships, and the ways people live now. She is a contributor to The Wall Street Journal, where she writes about contemporary culture and social trends. She also frequently writes for New York, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.

Previously, Rosenblum was chief content officer at Bustle Digital Group, overseeing editorial content and strategy across the company’s portfolio of brands. Before joining BDG, she was executive editor of ELLE. She previously worked as a senior editor at Bloomberg Businessweek and Glamour and began her career at New York magazine.

Rosenblum lives in New York City with her husband and two sons.
